Perfect date
If ever any of you are thinking of going on a perfect date, try wine country. It's simply amazing. The drive going there is already spectacular. It's like paying a visit to Mother Nature. A cool breeze rushing through your hair (use a convertible if you can, if not roll down the windows) as you look at the sprawling hills sprinkled with trees all around. It's even more beautiful during fall when the tress decide to alter their appearance through the change of colors.
Then there are all the vineyards which in themselves are a sight. Each winery with its own style. Some with an antique look, refined and classy. There are others with a more modern look, exotic yet accomodating.
Imagine having picnic overlooking all the vineyards. A nice blanket hugging the grass. Nothing but nature to please the eye. The sun smiling down and warming us. The most excellent wine to add to the flavor. Perfection.
The only problem is that my "date" was just ... not worth the scenery. It's so frustrating being able to come across a piece of paradise only to share it with an individual who just didn't fit. It's like swimming with someone who hates water.
I was in the right place, but with the wrong person. I would rather be in the wrong place with the right person ... anytime, anytime.
