Dramatizing the Dork

I wonder why there's so much negative feeling and energy when people talk about dorks. I mean can you really define a dork besides the stereotypical cliche you normally associate them towards? Oh, look it's someone who wears glasses, has a pocket protector and has a amazing tendancy to use sophisticated words.

Give me a break. They dramatize us in the term because we like things normal people do not. Wether it's a massive comic collection, or the new wave of gamer. Im a gamer, I admit it. I immerse myself in games with good story's, incredible characters, and immersive music. Yes, Im even a dork. I like parody's/skit's/and oh my god! Comics.

For shame. I find it especially irratitating. I have other quality's no one seems to nocite or even consider. Im a poet/writer. I love books, music, art, movies. I am the artistic medium when it comes to opening your mind, and talking about things that *Gasp* actually have meaning.

So why all the hate bashers when it comes to dorks? We make great lovers, let me tell you. Being book smart and having a high sophistication in words we can actually say things that are completely sensetive and beautiful. Course, those are just words. Ok, I make a great lover, but that's just based on pure principle. Why? Cause I said so :).

So yes, dork's of the world unite. Your not alone in your crusade.
