I have only begun to nibble

to peel away the layers

at a time

begun to feel you yeild

beneath my fingertips.

to devour you

to let all of you

roll over my tongue

to let you inside

to comprehend

this has only just begun

and i am waiting

desperate for more.

every time you say goodbye

i say hello again.

every time you pull away

at the end of the day

aloud to the sky

and hope

where you will not be gone

and we will be as one

You are radiant

warm both inside and out

luxuriant and beautiful

in ways i cannot describe

except when i find myself

lost in your ocean

cast adrift in your warmth

run aground on your shore.

only a touch

a word

a whisper of skin

a hooded glance

with hidden meaning

or a smile

full of many things
