You & I

You and I are two seperate beings

Yet we are part of one whole

but I want to be me and me alone

and that is why I run

You want to be we and we always

will be together until death do us part

for the world is not enough to hold us

and the sun is not bright enough to burn our eyes

but I'm cold enough to freeze in these waters

and drown beneath a surface just out of reach.
